THE ISLAND - Our Paradise

🛩️ Traveling to Siargao

Best way is by flight to Sayak Airport (IAO) in Del Carmen. ✈️ The airport will be a 30-40 min drive from General Luna, where our wedding festivities will be! 🎉

PAL, CebPac, & Sunlight Air offer regular flights daily.

While you can fly from Manila (mostly with a layover in Cebu), you can also opt to fly in via other key cities like Clark, Cebu or Davao, depending on the airlines. Flights will only span the day time between ~4:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and will have a duration of 2 hours. These usually use turboprop aircrafts with smaller capacities so plan accordingly.

Flight are sparse, especially direct ones, and can get a bit pricey so please stay tuned for seat sales & book as soon as you can! 🏷️

P.S. We will plan to have a small nuptial mass with family and our wedding party on 27 Feb at 3PM but our beach ceremony will be on 28 Feb at 4PM as reference when planning your flights 😁

Booking your stay 🛎️

Siargao hosts a wide range of accommodations for you - from premium resorts, airbnbs & hostels.

Our wedding festivities will be held in Isla Cabana 🏝️ so we recommend staying within General Luna, particularly along Tourism Road.

📝 Important Tips

Just as every island in the Philippines boasts of a unique experience, Siargao offers one that is edenic, relaxed & authentic.

This also means that Siargao is still a developing island, so sharing a couple of important things to take note as you prepare for the trip:

🛵 Getting around

FROM THE AIRPORT

Your accommodations will likely offer airport transfer services, so don’t hesitate to ask. 🚐

As reference, getting a private van pickup would typically cost PHP1.5k-2.5k per van per way, with the cost varying based on the accommodations. These vans can likely accommodate up to 6-10 people with luggages.

Alternatively, public vans stationed outside the airport offer rides at Php300 per person, with a max capacity of 12-14 passengers each way.

For any help needed in securing airport transfers, feel free to contact Siargao Weddings at +639602214220

GETTING AROUND

There are numerous ways to explore the island.

For the adventurous, renting a scooter or bicycle is popular, with rentals starting at ~PHP350 per day. If you decide to get one, please take extra care, wear the helmets and go at your own pace. We’d hate to see you bruised during our wedding. 🤕

Tricycles or tuktuks are readily available for short distances, costing max PHP50 per person per ride (or more especially at night where rates could vary).

Pro tip: get the mobile number of a tricycle driver you can contact when needed. 📲

For those who prefer to drive or will come in groups, car rentals are also available.

Some accommodations may offer options to get around, so don’t hesitate to ask. Otherwise, sharing some recommended rentals from our coordinators.
